The Scorch team have been working very hard to upgrade our existing sites in Canterbury with the latest next gen capability, allowing us to offer a new and advanced range of plan options for our customers. Our next gen infrastructure provides faster speeds and larger data caps – perfect for almost any internet requirement.

To connect with our Next Gen Infrastructure the Scorch Subscriber Module at your property needs to be changed by one of our engineers.

To physically send an engineer out to complete this upgrade there is a one off $100.00 incl. GST fee (plus additional travel radius if applicable), this will be charged to your account once the upgrade is successfully completed.

All Next Gen plans have a minimum 24 month connection term.

If you are interested in signing up to our Next Gen Plans the process is fairly simple.

1. Complete the upgrade request form below

2. Our team will review your connection and run some initial checks to determine if your connection is within coverage range and looks to be a suitable candidate for our next gen infrastructure.

Please note as our next infrastructure has different connection requirements than our standard plan offerings, there could also be a possibility that not all existing customers will be able to connect to our next gen infrastructure. In addition next gen plans may not be available in all locations and regions on the network as we work to expand the next gen network coverage. We will advise the best course of action in this situation.

3. Once we have completed the initial scope to determine if your connection is suitable for upgrade, we will let you know and you will be added to an upgrade priority queue.

4. A job is issued to one of our engineers to come out to your property and physically replace and upgrade the Scorch Subscriber Module, our engineer will make contact with you and arrange a day/time to come and complete the upgrade. Access to the inside of the house is not required in most cases.

Please note there may be some delays with completing upgrades based on demand, stock availability and network expansion. We will do our best to complete your upgrade in a timely manner.
